We should bring in Ole Gunnar ... after all he's keeping Man Utd out of the relegation zone!

Just to add I very much doubt Chris Hughton would be interested. His stock is still quite high and could be an attractive option for a premier league struggler come Christmas time.

The owners have invested throughout the club since they arrived; bottom 3 is simply not acceptable. Another few losses we would have a crap atmosphere and less people attending matches. They have acted accordingly. Nice charming bloke, but failed to get the results and appears failed to get the players to pull in the right direction.

No point getting upset because Jose didn’t turn out to be the next Nuno. No point immediately slating the rumours of Mark Hughes - who is actually a very good manager and well respected in football.

Hughton, Hughes, whoever. They’ll get my support.

Ah just stumbled across a mention that Kia J is Mark Hughes agent (or at least was)

Nailed on surely?

Actually, Saints fan I know was hugely down on Hughes as manager. Although that was before he even took charge of a single game.

Can't argue with his record. Seems to have been on a bit of a downward trend for a while though. Not convinced (though certainly not against), and quite likely to not be welcomed with open arms by the fanbase it seems. Which isn't great.

Think it'll be Hughes, which doesn't inspire confidence. Obviously would love Hughton if he wants to come - I also would take Adkins back, he's done pretty well since he left us, though not sure how popular that'd be here...

I like Adkins, but he'd be unpopular and given how he got shafted last time, I don't think he'd want to come.

Tend to the view of never go back with managers.

Mike Flynn, Newport County

He has done an incredible job for NCAFC and will be stepping up soon

Agree with all of that think we will end up with Mark Hughes dreaming of Steve Coppell and Glen Little as assistant though.

Past caring who the next manager will be, it's like picking what socks to wear when you've 10 identical grey pairs.

Whoever it is will get my support for as long as they deserve it.
