If you want similar tinpotishness clubs to Reading then there’s everyone’s favourite - Brighton. Luton will be that way inclined when they get their new ground. Then there’s Watford that nice anodyne “should be a derby” club that no-one’s ever been slightly bothered about round here (actually that’s even more like Reading given the number of people in this area who “support” the big PL regulars).

Think I’d either go for someone like Plymouth or Bristol City though - or perhaps a local leading non league club in the hope of the glamour of getting into the FL
