Hendo Forbury Lion Jagermesiter1871 Isn't the average attendance in Germany massive?
Is that due to affordable ticket pricing though? - If so, that means the same income as a UK club charging twice the price for half as many seats..... although with twice as many fans you sell twice as many shirts, beer, food etc etc
Affordable tickets do obviously have something to do with it, but they have the football culture and the history to go with it.
It is a totally different match day experience over there. Supporters are still treated like supporters and looked after rather than treated like customers like we are here. The policing is far more relaxed over there too, you can enjoy a beer in your seat/whilst standing and you don't have the stewards or police watching you like hawks or getting involved needlessly.
