Snowflake Royal URZZZZ Old Man Andrews Puscas instead of Baldock.......
I’d start him on the basis that a couple of games ago, he did well, and it’s no use to him (or Baldock) constantly chopping and changing. Choose one, give them a bit of a run to see if they can deliver in a fast turnover period.
In addition, Puscas scored a hat trick against this lot last timeHowever, I wouldn’t be against a two up top formation to work on a strike duo for Sheffield United. I’m not sure playing a lone striker against three tall centre halves will work (in particular Baldock/Puscas) so perhaps planning and adapting for that game can be beneficial
You sure about that? EDIT: Mixed up this one with the Cardiff brace. Ignore me.
Upfront it's the same old conundrum isn't it ... no one fit to play upfront on their own, but who do you drop in midfield to accommodate a second striker? Or do you drop the wide players - in which case you've really got to push the wing backs up to have width which means you need a third CB or two DMs to avoid being wide open.
It's quite a specialised formation so may not necessarily work, but a 4-4-2 diamond with this group of players may work, with Pele holding, Rino and Swift ahead with Ejaria at the tip of the diamond
Width could then come from Yiadom and Richards bombing on, with Pele and Rino able to cover the gaps left from them or the front two could drift out wide, if, let's say it's Meite and Baldock who have experience of that
You don't see many teams play this formation to be fair as you do need certain types of players but it's something that perhaps could, with this set of players. IIRC McDermott experimented with this formation for a bit in his second spell
