Nothing negative about that. It's not exactly goal of the season is it.

Goal's unsurprisingly done us a world of good. Look much more comfortable going forward now.

What a terrible post

No such thing a a terrible goal. Convinced Ian doesn't actually support the club.

URZZZZ
May as well just sell Richards if we just drop him after one bad game. He played well at Wednesday and he played well at Leeds before a poor performance midweek

He had three options. Play Richards and let him try and build consistency, play Blackett who links up better with Ejaria a lot better than the other two or play Obita. Really don’t like that call

Totally agree.

Or Obita has been ahead of him and only wasn't playing because of injury, so has come back into the side when ready after the whole side were poor against Wigan.

I know Urzzzz doesn't like Obita but he's been perfectly good.

I think Richards, on the whole, has been better than Obita this season. Dropping him wont help him much. I seem to recall, perhaps not you, a lot of people saying Yiadom shouldnt come back in for Gunter. Same must apply for Obita no?

By the way, our only win in 10 at Sheff Wed is being put in context today.

I don't think Richards has been especially good. I think Obita offers a bit more. We were also abject against WIgan by all accounts and changes needed. There's certainly very little difference there and prior to his injury Obita was ahead of Richards. I really don't see what's controversial. Fine, you and URZZZZ prefer Richards, that doesn't make it a bad decision by Bowen.

Gunter was playing very well, and iirc we hadn't just had a shocking result, and again, iirc, I was saying Yiadom shouldn't be rushed back in unnecessarily. What I advocate and what I get pissed off about Bowen not doing are not the same thing.

It's hardly a clear cut case of right or wrong here.

The reason I think it's a bad decision is that Richards is our future LB. Dropping him after the entire team was poor is an odd choice. Obita was never ahead of Richards either. In fact I suspect they played more games together than Obita has started LB ahead of Richards.

It is not about who I think is better though it's about the man management. Dropping a young player who did nothing wrong is terrible.

I wouldn’t say “nothing wrong” because he was part of a shocking display on Wednesday but he wasn’t one of the worst out there

Bowen seriously just needs to stick to one LB and give them a run for a while
My preference is Blackett but it’s close between him and Richards and especially if we win today, there’s probably less need for Blackett if he won’t be here next year

Really enjoyed that first half, very entertaining.

Yiadom has been brilliant and we are very exciting offensively with this line-up.

Meite’s touch is dreadful but been alright apart from that. I’d put his goal down as an own goal as bizarrely shepherded I’m by defender.

Don’t look watertight at the back and a brilliant double save on half time kept us ahead.
