Hendo 3-1 win at home to Spurs and the 0-2 away win at Man City were fantastic.

The City game, we could have scored 5 or 6 and it wouldn't have been a shock.

+1 for the Forest game, I was also there and it was an incredible game.

City away was absolutely tremendous.

Hendo
LUX my two brothers were at that game, I missed it.

Even 0-6 wouldn't have flattered us that day. Absolutely dominated them.

Lita mistakenly denied a hat-trick after great work by SHunt to keep a ball in; great performance in the foggy Manc murk!

As a teenager, Reading 4 Grimsby 0, John Alexander scored all 4 goals. The Simod Cup Semi final against Coventry will always rank highly, along with the playoff semifinal win against Wigan.

There have been many great performances and too many rubbish performances over the last 50 years. I guess if I have to choose one game it would have to be the 3 - 2 win over Boro in our first ever Premiership match. It brought home that the impossible dream had just come true.

Not a great game but does anyone on here remember us getting beat 2-0 by New Zealand in a friendly at Elm Park? I can’t recall the game so I am starting to doubt my own memory.

That’s the one with the famous photo in the tunnel with one of the greatest players of all time stood next to George Best.

The home game against Oxford on the 28th October 2000 in League Two. Eventually ran out winners 4-3.

Reading Scorers: Caskey (pen, 28 mins), Cureton (68), Rougier (78, 87)
Oxford United Scorers: Lilley (40), Viveash (OG, 69), Richardson (73)

16,000 turned out that day. How times have changed.

Pouring rain. Our keeper slid off the wet pitch trying to save the ball going for a corner. Left the ball on the pitch for a tap in for them. Phil Whitehead.
