F*cking awful......no threat whatsoever, even when we are losing its just tippy tappy b+ll+cks.
I can only see more of the same next season. How is it that they can put a few decent crosses in and we don't even get near the goal. Just so fed up. People on here criticizing Ainsworth as a long ball merchant. I'd rather watch that than this crap.

windermereROYAL Well that was shit again at home, defeat number 11.
what we need are some more cardboard cut-outs.

Martin Salter, Kate Winslet, Ricki Gervais, Blackie, Ian etc etc.

URZZZZ And people are wondering why others are unsure of Bowen still

Sit back on a 1-0 lead once again and lose the lead again! And repeat. He’s steadied the ship but it’s dire viewing, and he isn’t improving it in terms of that aspect

We didn't really sit back though did we. Prob should have had a pen and hit the post just before they equalised.

Home form is a long term issue that you can tell is weighing the players down, that takes time to reverse and is also why the players often retreat at 1-0, it may well be an instruction but there is an element of fear there. The fact that the same thing is happening in an empty stadium shows that.

We need to find a way to go a few games unbeaten at home as that is the only way we stop getting results like tonight.

Having said that, thought we were the better team for large swathes of second half but as it drew on could tell Boro knew a win keeps them up whilst the result didn't really matter for us.

Ideally would like to get a win against Swansea so that we can take a home win into next season.

Old Man Andrews Awful result, awful display. Bowen is not the long term answer.

Agreed . Looks bleak for next season

Except we didn’t do that. In fact the only time in the match when we genuinely looked like scoring was at 1-0 up

It’s happened too many times though, Hull, West Brom, Stoke, today, Cardiff etc etc

And why we have 11 players back from their corners makes no sense. It’s how they scored their first goal, there’s no one forward if we manage to clear it, just inviting pressure. Gomes used to do it too, drives me mental

Another tediously dreadful home performance. They really need to insert some excitement into home games as there’s naff all worth watching at the moment. Issue is the club just aren’t good enough going forward and desperately need a revamp from somewhere

Our home record has been dire for almost a decade.

Bowen's got us midtable from relegation places by building a strong defence and getting points away. Good managers always seem to start by building from the back.

People would be singing his praises to the rooftops if the home and away record was flipped.

If the home record is still terrible at the end of next season, think about changing over the summer, or maybe if we're back in relegation danger. But give the guy a chance to sort it out. The restart has been a complete wild card, we've been basically safe since before the lockdown and Bowen has a chance to do more squad building.

What is another manager going to do better with huge financial problems and half a summer?

Get behind the guy who is actually a success for a change.

As a season ticket holder I've been entitled to free iPlayer to watch all our remaining games this season since the restart, I've not watched one, nor will be.

This. A thousand times this.

We are pretty solid defensively for the first time in ages, we just need to figure out how to fix the forward side now - that may take a little longer.

And as mentioned, figure out how to get the home hoodoo off our backs.

Bristol Paul Another dreadful home performance from a team who don’t know how to win. 1 home win in 13 games in 2020 is it? They are so slow and ponderous, and no width due to getting shot of all the wingers hasn’t helped. Bored, bored, bored.

Boye, Aluko, masika, mccleary, barrow, obita

That’s 6 wingers on the books

We just don’t play them because we play a different system. Worked in the away games

Snowflake Royal Swift's passing, occasionally sublime though it can be, has been consistently awful since the restart. Endlessly underhit slow or wayward.

Same with the whole side, but he's the expert and playmaker.

His passing was really poor too often but Ian he is the only one capable of creating anything. Olise did ping in a couple of good set pieces admittedly but he often made the wrong call and the move broke down. We have nothing down either flank. We continue to play without decent wingers. It’s all too slow with too many touches.
We create so little in most games.
It happens at home week in week out and nothing changes.

I don't think Bowen's a great manager, but I do wonder why people think bringing someone else in will turn a collection of proven failures into a good team.

Maybe because we haven't actually employed an "experienced manager" for sometime. Nigel Adkins was the last one and he got sold short imo.
Gomez only managed in a pub league,
Bowen, never managed,
Clement, never a manager in a 100 years, a coach maybe,
The Fulham fan showed some real signs of progress but then knifed us in the back,
BM never really got a chance to come back and improve things..
Stam somehow got us to the playoffs but my god we were dull and quite frankly it must have been a fluke looking at his record since.
So in short we seem to make the wrong decision......who else is there? There are managers out there, it's just we seems to ignore them.

Yeah this. Didn’t make the last two home performances any better mind you

More convinced after tonight that I’d be happy to see the back of quite a few of this squad as well
