Hound Didn’t watch but few things I’ve seen suggested Holmes did well. Be a good 4th choice if he is up to it

Really hoping Watson can start impressing again as well...

Showing your lack of knowledge there.

He is useless. If you're praising him then that confirms he is useless.

Watson looked OK in his handful of first team appearances 4 years ago.

The problem is he's had more than his fair share of injury problems and hasn't convinced on loan so no-one really knows how ready he is for the Championship. At 23, he needs to hit the ground running because at that age, he should really be establishing himself.

Sutekh All now gone off to Portugal for a short “training camp” and friendly (probably on 1st September, wonder if it’ll be v Porto).

Back in time to lose to Colchester.

Bournemouth are over there as well so against a fellow Championship side might be a good workout.

This has to be the strangest pre season we will ever know. Utterly bizarre.

There's some photos up on the OS.

Looks like Olise, Swift, Rino and Laurent all started. As did Araruna!

Laurent must be asking himself what the oxf*rd he has got himself in to.

Why would he care? He has been given a massive pay rise to play Championship football, he probably couldn't give a toss.

Think a lot is made of players being affected by changes in management/ownership. As long as they get paid they do not give a toss, management changes are part and parcel of modern day football.

Isn’t it just? Just so odd.

the performance against a Primeira Liga side in Portimonense was an encouraging one and the team now look in good shape

Just LOL

Looks like Shane Duffy is off to Celtic, which will obviously cool any interest they had in Moore.
