Andy Carroll's on £80k a week but he's OOC this summer.

Lord Voldemort is on £75,000 a week with 2 years to run

Newcastle have shown they're way to big for the Championship a couple times now. If they do come down you've got to expect them to win the league, I think.

That will run out eventually (see Sunderland)

From Despair To Where? I hope they've got some relegation wage cut clauses. Joelinton's on £90,000 a week and their total wage bill is £65m.

Really? He’s utter garbage

Their transfer policy is shocking. For a large club, you’d think they’d be able to attract some form of quality or at least be on a par with clubs like Everton. But they just seem to sign a load of rubbish every summer!

They gave him a 5 year contract as well.

I guess we now know what Ron Gourlay's up to these days.

You only need to look at Norwich Watford and Bournemouth that came down last season, virtually untouched PL squads because of the of the ridiculous parachute payments. even WBA could go close to it next year with big Sam in charge, it`s really only a matter of time.

And yet even with those 3, the record is safe with 21 points still to play for.

Exactly, Norwich did not come close in the end.

( I am always concerned until the last team can no longer do it, mind)

Norwich 99 points (quite possibly the best championship side ever)

Be fair, it’s only 5 more defeats than we had (although they’ve still got 3 more opportunities to increase that)

So clearly, they are the best at this level ever (since last season, anyway)

"OMG this is the best championship team we've ever seen". Every year.

And it is possible that they knock in 33 goals in the next 3 games...

They still have to play Reading at home so that should be achievable.
