AthleticoSpizz Yup, Struber comes across as a decent guy (got some decent results last season inheriting a ‘relegated’ team).....delighted that they stayed up last season.

He was known as the Gareth ainsworth of the Championship last year. Of course with Wycombe undeservedly fluking promotion he is no longer allowed to call himself that.

Had Barnsley playing better than Leeds in the first half.

You're the one doing it.

You can't just be honest enough to say you hate his guts. You instead try to appease him and keep him on side for some reason. It is like you're scared of him.

Not at all. Sick of Ian and his disgusting arrogance when it comes to Reading FC based discussions. This is a guy who said he had stopped supporting the club yet apparently is the authority on all things club related. This is the guy who lacks so much basic footballing knowledge that he thought clubs could appeal red cards that are the result of two bookings yet lectures everyone else on football.

Everyone here can accept his bullshit but I won't.

How would a club appear red cards ?
Is this some Uri Geller reference ?

Well this thread is a bundle of laughs.

Trying to decide between Ian Royal and OMA is like trying to choose your favourite between aneurysm and arse cancer.

One of the most painful post match threads for quite a while

Between this and the Ng thread, been a pretty awful day on here

I think OMA is in the midst of a mid life crisis and/or a severe mental breakdown. We should be supporting him through this tough time and getting him the help he needs. I think it's best he step away from the board for a few weeks.

We are here for you m8!

It isn't as bad as the Sheff weds (I think) one from last season where OMA was accusing Leon and spizz of being alcoholic women beaters. That was pretty oxf*rd bad.

Ian is being put in his place, you should be supporting that.

Another person who is scared of Ian for some reason, quite sad.

One thing I’m impressed by is how much better we are on set pieces. We seem a lot more intelligent with our movement with Moore in particular and it’s paid the dividends. Last year they barely beat the first man. Problem is if we play a team good at set pieces we might struggle to score goals... As soon as Meite came on we looked much more dangerous in attack and gave us the much needed width showing how badly we need proper wingers. Aluko did very well coming on too. Hopefully we will see more of this Aluko and not the Aluko that we saw on Tuesday.

retro royal I totally dislike how we defend corners we just invite pressure allowing the opposition to flood our box, you need to keep someone up top maybe a smaller player with pace, they'll leave a few defenders back.

Fair play to Barnsley, think we probably would have scored as they tired, but they will suprise a few this season

Great to be looking below us for the rights reasons

Even when they were down to nine we had all eleven back! I don’t get it win the corner it’s a chance for an overload break. As for the game we were really poor until the red card. But with our dreadful home form will take anything. I’m still angry about the Carabou cup performance. Remember Man Utd lost 4-0 to Milton Keynes won on pens against Rochdale last year. Would love to see us beat them we may never get a better chance.
