RichTea94 Meite showing absolutely no regard for human life there.

Just really good stuff going forwards. My only reservation is wondering how much of this is down to Pauno? Are we benefitting from Bowen's defensive work (a la Roberto Martinez's first season at Everton)

Can't see how Pauno has done anything in the short time. Makes it almost more annoying we got rid of Bowen but who knows - maybe he would have picked a stupid crap team which he was known to.

All we need to do is sell Swift and sign roberto carlos with the money.

So when will we overtake last season's point tally?

If the rumours are true about Bowen being unpopular with the players, maybe a nice guy manager just gives a bit more confidence. Of course, we need to see how we respond to bad days at the office; generally Bowen made us react well to bad games, and I'm sure we'll have some this season too.

Lot of knocks on the players today. Araruna obviously, Joao and Meite, wonder what the fall out will be

Velcro doesn't have a rep as a nice guy though.

He's got a rep of falling out with players and dropping them and giving people the hairdryer treatment by some accounts.

Two big lumps up front now for Cardiff

No prizes for guessing their tactics now

We would not be winning with Bowen...fact. It would be the same old shit we saw at the backend of last season. The players now look more inspired and confident. The fragility we have had under the last managers is slowly going. What Paunovic can do in a short space of time is give them belief and direction. We have been a bit more direct as well at times in our tactics. In short he is the right man....

Hasn't every manager we've had for the last 10 years been apparently unpopular with the players?

This is the worry. If we do win it’s coming at a cost.

Players just look a lot more confident this year. Could be Pauno could be Bowen going - or just a bit of momentum

Judging by our start to the season and Forests, I can only deduce that it was all Blacketts fault.

For my money you could put it down to one or more of four factors.

Joao being fit
Laurent giving the midfield balance and steel
Olise adding end product to his game
Paunovic being an improvement on Bowen

I'd argue that's the right order for importance and I doubt the fourth one is even real.

Joao has just been so good that's undeniable, and he was key under Bowen as well.

Laurent was Bowen's signing.

Olise is where he is now because of the games Bowen trusted him with.
