Awful, turgid half. Team playing like they just had to turn up to win. Massive improvement needed.

NewCorkSeth Our commentating team waxing lyrical about Holmes right now. I thought he looked well off pace? Sloppy in possession and awful throw ins.

Yep his worst game by far in a Reading shirt. Where is OMA thought he’d be all over Ian

Some of his passes were poor. He isn’t a natural right back so would give Esteves a chance during the second half.

That Meite miss was incredible.

Its the easiest header you can have. Watching it all the way, no one on him, head it back from where it came whole goal to aim at. Painful.

Ejaria cross superb. Must be annoyed hasnt got an assist for it.

This place is dismal when Reading are playing poorly

Anyway, Esteves, Aluko and Puscas should be warming up ready to get on early in the 2nd half. Looks short up top and Holmes has been as I feared he would in this sort of game - lack of mobility on the flank and attacking play standing out

Yeah i would agree with that. Struggling to build anything on either flank with Richards looking poor too. Nothing against Holmes but a natural RB is always preferable.

WoodleyRoyal Sky obviously only have one camera at the game. None behind the goals and nothing on the east. Not seen a single replay either

It’s always like this on the red button.

He's tried to be too cute, think Mick called it. He's tried to glance it in the near post when he should have just gone for direct contact at goal. Because he was running at an angle and stretching he's misjudged it trying to do something too complicated.

The only positive to take from the game so far is OMA and dd are not present on the match thread. Long may that continue

PieEater This is terrible, this is the first game I've watched live this season and we look like relegation fodder.

We'll lose this to a set piece or penalty.

Ditto.I am wondering if I have just forgotten how poor the standard is.

He bangs on about Watson not Holmes.

I thought Holmes has been ok. Done some quality defensive work. Not getting a lot of support from Meite.

Fox Talbot Crikey what’s happened to our attacking play? 37 gone, no chances.

Playing out from the back. Slowly. Little pace or tempo added by Laurent or Rino. Ejaria, Meite and Joao all poor control so nothing sticking anywhere. Passing not crisp or in front of the player to move onto.

What we've been used to under passing managers basically.

Hang on, Laurent has been so bad I didn't think he was playing. I don;t think I've heard his name mentioned once

Kitsondinho
Pepe the Horseman Anyone managed to get the right feed on the sky sports app?

No, they’ve Oxford up again...happens all the time with the Sky Sports app games. Strangely never happens to teams like Forest...

All fine for me - but a bit weird with just a single commentator chatting to themselves and still can’t get used to no replays.

Josh Laurent went missing as well. Barely had a touch. Not seeing him getting a lot of stick. Needs to step it up now that Semedo is lurking.
