Snowflake Royal What, boring Shearer? Fouling git, yeah. Not really the same thing. Plus I wouldn't expect Boca Juniors to have a minutes silence when he dies.

Loved “winning” penalties. The original “there was contact I had the right to go down”

I think Lineker was there before him

But so what anyway?

Exactly. They all do what they can the get goals.

I don’t agree with it but “getting” a free kick given against you is considered part of the game
Palming it into the net with your hand is not and never has been part of the game

Great job ref, do you want to wait half an hour to blow up for the next not really a foul foul.

Largely non-descriptive performance so far. Both teams seem to be cancelling each other out.

Snowflake Royal Not entirely sure I back a minute's silence at Championship games for a foreign player who cheated our national team and was an awful role model

:|

Wow. That is very Karbota like of you Ian.

He was one of the best footballers in history. I think it is well deserved.

But it is providing a useful distraction to a dull game

Decently happy with that though considering our last 2 home games. Keep it tight.

Olise keeping the ball like that under that pressure. Wow.

Also note that 4 players closed down Joao there. They know how dangerous he is in the box

Opposition must spend a lot of time being prepped on what to do about Joao right now.

You lads never saw Shearer play then?

What, boring Shearer? Fouling git, yeah. Not really the same thing. Plus I wouldn't expect Boca Juniors to have a minutes silence when he dies.

Not sure Shearer is in the conversation when discussing the greatest footballer of all time. His impact was negligible outside the UK. Has anyone in Argentina ever heard of him?
