I'm sorry but I would have kept Aluko on. Baldock just offer nothing.

Baldock is stealing a living. Imagine if we could spend his wages on somebody useful.

No one who works as hard as Baldock does is stealing a living.

But it’s no use expecting him to win aerial challenges against guys that size

Snowflake Royal Second to absolutely everything at this point.

We look tired. Norwich played very well, best team this season. Haven’t thought we’ve done too badly considering, just never look like creating anything substantial, as expected tbh.

It's been a pretty excellent display under the circumstances marred by two errors.

But we had to try some more shots and move forward quicker at times.

Wouldn’t say pretty excellent display. They played ok, but you can see the difference in quality given our injury situation. 4 homes defeats in 6 not good though. Norwich clearly going to be up there although I don’t think they are the best side I’ve seen this season.

Just no real threat going forward without Meite and Joao. Baldock offers nothing to Reading in this formation.

Really going to have more problems facing Brentford on Saturday and then Luton won’t exactly be easy either if Joao is still sidelined.

Despite being comprehensively outplayed;ultimately Ref gave them the game with a poor decision. The Owners might expect a lot this season but ultimately the squad simply isn’t strong enough.

He’s being asked to play a role that he can’t do, that’s not his fault. Needs must at the moment. He needs to play as a part of a front 2. Certainly not a player who can play the lone striker role. He gets a lot of stuck on here I think unwarranted. He just doesn’t fit into what we are trying to do. Hopefully he gets a move in January and we can bring in someone more akin to our style.

Thought Baldock looked fine, even if he hit a hat trick some people would say it was luck

WoodleyRoyal Absolutely no shame tonight. As I said earlier in the thread. Norwich are the best team we’ve played this season. The keep ball and pressure off the ball has been too much for us. We have a make shift team out there. We’ve played well. Everyone’s put a shift in

Yep, hard to argue with any of that.

Didn’t embarrass against a much better team. Not a disaster.

Tough to watch that second half

Not that we didn’t try our backsides off and generally play ok but it’s a real struggle without Joao and Meite up there.

Norwich are clearly decent, a few of their players are clearly prem quality. And able to bring on the likes of Cantwell and Hugill whilst we are playing CDMs up front, centre backs in midfield and kids for their debut

No shame but can’t get the injured lads back quick enough

Decent performance with the available side. 2 errors cost us and Norwich knew how to control the game better once 2-1 up.

Performance showed the squad can compete at the top but not the very top with the injuries we have.

Norwich are heading straight back up. Let's see how we respond on Saturday. Brentford are fairly average at home this year.

Gutting to lose to a shocking dive!

Was always going to be a struggle, but we could have snatched a draw but for the ref.

Norwich also kings of the little foul that goes unnoticed, the dive to get the free kick when they are giving up possession etc

Would very much expect them to be top 2 end of season

Would have played Semedo and Baldock up front. Simply no point playing his as a lone striker, until we play him up with someone we may as well just field 10 men.

Tonight showed us, that with a full strength team, we deserve to be up at the top of the table.

The fact that Norwich edged out a team missing at least 3 first team players says a lot about us.

Yes, we weren't as good as them or as good as we can be, but the result wasn't as bad as it could have been, considering.

But we do need a better bench. And better standard of referees.

Agreed. He's a square peg in a round hole. A signing that was made with no real plan how to use him and in many ways a wasted career move for a player who has always been decent at this level.

It wasn't but can see why it was given. Moore clearly apologised to the team as he shouldn't have dived in.
