Westwood52 Horrible first half. The young kids at the back hanging on by their finger nails. Why didn’t Olise release it at the end there.Semedo complete waste of space.

How was it horrible? We’re playing the team in second and held our own for much of it. Had a decent chance of our own

Yep and it’s just how we were playing in our first 7 games.
Keep defending well
Hopefully get a breakaway - which we should have had with Olise

Swift on for Semedo. You would think Semedo offers more defensively but the reality is he's more of a liability at both ends.

I’m sorry but what does Semedo offer that Aluko can’t as a number 10? Why’s he playing in that position when that’s the natural position for the 2 chaps either side of him?

Baldock offering sod all up top but then we’ve known he can’t play that role; so why persist with it?

Ejaria as effective as normal...needs a rocket up his arse

Swans growing into this game and working out how to get beyond us.

Hopefully we can make a couple of changes and get a draw at least

tidus_mi2 Why is Olise going off? The rule change means if it's a foul he doesn't have to go off.

I didnt see that rule change?

Yes I thought if it’s a yellow card, you can stay on. I can’t keep with these rules changes. Introduced exactly for these situations.

The current law states that a player does not leave the field of play if they were injured as the result of a physical offence for which the opponent is cautioned or sent off (e.g. reckless or serious foul challenge), if the assessment/treatment is completed quickly.

Presume in this case the referee did not consider that the assessment/treatment was completed quickly enough, though just why that should make a difference then only the FA know.

I think ejaria has played quite well

Semedo is in for his physicality I think - at times it works with Laurent, Rino and Ejaria and Olise all being reasonably big lads it works ok. But his touch definitely needs to be better

Blimey Baldock 1 successful pass in 45 mins......that really isn't working with him being alone.

Yep, Semedo obviously there for physicality.

Don't know why people are so down on him. Yeah if everyone is fit he doesn't make the XI, but he only just scored ffs. Got a few assists.

Ejaria is clearly here as a wide player no matter what people might prefer him as.

Not sure why we haven’t made a change at half time. Just attack v defence. Need to get Swift on for Semedo and actually give us a shot of retaining possession higher up.

Not to pile on the sky commentary but they just described Olose as our main man this season. He hasn't been though has he? That's Joao for sure imo.

Think it suggests Velko isn’t too unhappy the way things are going

Excellent pass from Baldock
Nice movement from Semedo then didn’t play the easy pass

That's how you play with Baldock. Semedo not quite alive to it.

Throw Meite in there as well.

On the plus side Bennet is finished. Big blow to lose your Cb.
