Hound Just imagine how good we can be when we aren’t bringing on Aluko and Baldock as our subs...

If we can get Meite, Puscas, Yiadom back and maybe add a striker in the window, we really do look strong

Uum No.

Used up a fair bit of luck tonight;but with a result of 3 nil its hard to denigrate the performance.

Rafa One good save. They either missed the goal or hit the post. But did nothing wrong.
Holmes An almost total mare.Estevez will start on the weekend.Could easily have been sent off for 2nd yellow.
Richards Struggled a bit.Didn’t look fit.
Morrison One of those games when he looks awkward.
McIntyre MOM.Pretty much perfect game.Doesn’t mess around when it matters.
Laurent He can control a game, but when the opposition zip around he struggles.
Rino Very good. His goal killed them off, they were a basket case after that.
Swift Great free kick and assist.Probably not match fit.
Ejaria Usual stuff from the sublime to ridiculous. But more of the sublime tonight.
Olise Was targeted, but still looked dangerous when not trying something too flash.
Jao Fantastic goal, where would we be without him;he misses Yacou big time though.

Alukho Having a solid season.I am always comfortable when he comes on.
Estevez Couple of mistakes, but generally a better bet than Holmes.
Semedo One heart stopping moment, but generally very solid.
Tetek Needs more work on his positioning.Promising though.
Baldock End of the road I am afraid.

Ref How could he let them get away with all those pro fouls ?

Sutekh Baldock’s never going to score again is he?

What!! because he misses one early first touch chance, Pratt.

McIntyre has been great since he came into the side, but Sunday will be a massive test for him. Reckon Preston will target him after the mare he had in the last game.

How does Meite get back in this team. Laurent and rino are undroppable. swift ejaria and olise look to be forming such a strong understanding. I just can’t see how he’s going to get back in the team.

No, Baldock should be given a good run, class player.

Rotate 2 from 3 of Ejaria Olise and Swift

Don’t like all 3 together anyway. For all their attacking flair there’s not a tackle between the 3 of them.

His positioning was poor in that Preston game and he was done for pace. A one off. He has been excellent in most of his starts at centre back. We really need to sort out a new contract for him.

Agreed. He has also shown excellent desire and strength in the early games when he was subbed on further up the field. He plays with real personality and was very good tonight. Won everything.

Do you think Meite will sort that issue?

Think Swift has worked hard on his defensive duties, seem to remember last season it sticking out as a vast improvement. Obviously not seen enough of him this season to judge and don’t really want him going in too strong just after coming back either.

It's a nice problem, but when Joao is playing Meite's direct threat becomes incredibly hard to cope with for opposition defences. Can't double mark both of them.

Yes exactly my thoughts too. When these two are in form they are unstoppable. A fully fit Meite has to start imo

Pauno suggesting Olise could be out for a long while. It didn’t look too bad. It effectively ensures he won’t be moving anywhere this month though.
Meite and Yids back at the end of the month. Moore next month.

Probably a good time to bring up how good the recruitment has been. All of Ejaria, Swift, Olise, Meite, Aluko and Semedo are almost all rotational. We haven’t got the biggest first team squad, but we truly do have players who can play a number of positions compared to some of those around us.
