Ejaria

That all huff and puff and a bit flat wasn't it.
Preston had no intention of playing football in the second half

Two dropped points. Feeling very frustrated. Preston did nothing in the second half.
Teams that win promotion nick games like this especially when you win penalties late on.

When's Meite back so we can get some oomph back in the team?

Maybe this team is a year's development or so off being genuine contenders. The 11/12 team would have won that game.

By the way what a pass from Laurent to Ovie at the end. Outside of his right straight into his path. Even had Don Goodman purring

Let's hope that Joao isn't the reason we don't go up because of his missed pens. He'll be hounded out the club then.

Greatwesternline Classic Ejaria. Why not slow down and try and beat two players when through on goal.

Yeah he needs to stop fcuking around with the clever clever stuff. Several times he lost decent possession by showing off.

Ref far too late to get cards out.

Whenever we broke or were just better Preston just fouled us, but by the time the ref caught on to this there was only five minutes left. He’d have not even given the pen if not for the lino.

There’s a reason we’ve seen a lot of red cards against us because that’s the only way a lot of sides can stop us with dirty play. PNE were grinning ear to ear with the shit play they were getting away with.

Snowflake Royal Happy enough with the result.

Too reliant on Joao scoring. Aluko not up to it and Ejaria as slow and wasteful as ever.

Think our best front four is Joao, Olise, Swift, Meite.

Agreed. Though frustrating to not have the balance with both Olise and Meite being very left footed.

Preston are bloody horrible aren’t they. Nasty niggly fouls, diving, getting in the refs face etc

Can’t stand them

Yes it was and Ovie should have had a shot. He dwelt on the ball and the chance was gone.

He didn't slow down the defenders ran back into position. He should have tried to chip the Keeper when he first got it though.

Frustrating game which highlighted our limitations.

That last chance when Ovie was through would have been buried had that been an actual winger like Barrow.

We struggle when we come up against typical battling championship CM’s. We are best playing along the deck but couldn’t carve out many clear chances at all. Ledson should have walked but you can’t rely on getting players sent off.

File next to Boro away. Far from a bad result.

Poor refereeing again. He allowed them to get away with it. Ledson should have been booked in the first half. Browne too. Ledson would have been off in the second half.

Preston were celebrating a point. Says it all really can’t afford to miss guilt edge chances like the pen.
