Surprised Scott Sinclair in the Swansea play off final hasn’t had a mention yet, destroyed us single-handedly (or that’s my memory).

Concur with Henry, ridiculously good when at his peak.

Vivid memories of the United side of 96, especially the speed of Giggs and being amazed how good even their less glamorous players like Nicky Butt and Phil Neville were.

Honourable mention for Gazza in Parky’s testimonial, pulled out all the tricks, what a player.

Henry for me.

A mention must go to Ruud Gullit for Newcastle in a PSF. Must have been one of his last games as a professional. He played the second half at centre back and he was the best thing on the pitch by a mile, absolutely ran the show.

Talking about Liverpool actually reminds me of Torres’ hat trick in the league cup game a number of years ago. Seems to get forgotten but he was very good that day.

Another nod to John Carey’s second half performance in the cup, absolutely bullied us.

One that always sticks in my mind, is Jermain Defoe in our 3-3 final game of the season against Bournemouth, single handadly bossed the entire game, obvious destined for greater things than AFCB.

more recently saw James reduce the very capable full back Andy Yiadom into a quivering wreck down at the Liberty

Ronaldo vs Murty sticks in my mind.
(And Gus Poyet in a pre-season friendly I seem to recall)

My minds gone blank but the big Belgian lad with the hair impressed me. United or Everton?

Santi Cazorla in the 7-5.
John Carew when we lost the quarter final to Villa.

Cazorla was unstoppable in that match... because he didn’t play. He scored a hat-trick in the league fixture. Theo Walcott was MOTM in the cup game.

oxf*rd Walcott. As soon as he made it 4-1 right on half time, a bad feeling came over me. I remember walking down the steps to the concourse texting my uncle and saying something along the lines of "really could've done without conceding that goal right on half time, going to give them a massive boost now"

Also didn't help that night that the ref allowed one of their players to rugby tackle Hunt inside the penalty box, he missed a blatant red card for Koscielny, and he went miles over time for their equaliser

That was a real killer as the route to the final that year was one of the easier ones, would have played Bradford next to get into the semis, which was against struggling Villa

Andy Johnson
Torres
Henry
Kuqi - anyone remember him hitting the cross bar from the halfway line at the Mad Stad?

All stand out for me.

I've one hazy recollection @ 2004 ish, playing Leicetser at home under the lights, when Muzzy Izzat ran the show for the full 90.. was absolute class..think we lost , and I think Leicester went up that season..
