Let's not kid ourselves about missing Meite and Swift either. They've only started 17 games between them. We've done perfectly well without them before.

Baffling to swap Semedo and Rino.

alfie9 Yiadom for Holmes with 15 minutes left when 1-0 up is comfortably the worst substitution of the season.

Completely nonsensical right. Surely the reason you start him is the same reason you KEEP him on when 1-0 up at home with 20 to go??

Baffling.

Bristol Paul One for the manager to take some of the blame. If we could get so up for it against Brentford, should have put as much effort into the game today. Don’t create a lot of chances and whilst I rate Ejaria, he does need to move the ball quicker at times.

Olise not a patch on Swift in my view, and needed to compete a lot more that we did. Millwall will never be much more than mid table with that sort of football, but will also always be hard to beat. Should have played it around a lot quicker to tire them, but were too slow not for the first time this season.

Injuries and lack of ability to change the game from the bench still killing us.

At times?

Try all the oxf*rd time.

Hound Poor result. But it happens against teams like Millwall, they just hang in and take their chances. We didn’t. They got a bit of luck with a lucky shot through ball and a deflected cross - we deflected onto the bar

Not sure taking Holmes off actually made any difference tbh. Not that I would have done it.

Not wetting the bed over it. Poor result but nothing is easy in this league. Need to just bounce back on Tuesday

The equaliser would have happened whether Holmes was on the pitch or not. He may have blocked the cross for the second, but considering he was missing for most of the second half, probably not.

It’s hard to see us beating anyone on that performance simply unacceptable.

Want Yiadom to get minutes?

Bring him on for Ejaria, Olise, Semedo, Rinomhota or Laurent and play him ahead of Holmes.

On the bright side another game has passed and we're still 8 clear of 7th. Cardiff have suddenly appeared just outside the POs from nowhere.

Easy narrative to just blame the sub though

Look it happens. Millwall always going to create a few chances - their 2 goals were pretty lucky to be honest

We played pretty poorly and need to learn to hang on to a 1-0 or 1-1 again though. But we’ve bounced back before and will do it again

I think Bennett was Laurent’s man. He does let people go too often much as I like him

Prob his worst game for us today tbh

FULL-TIME
Reading 1-2 Millwall
Millwall's turnaround is complete as they come from behind to seal three points against Reading.

One win in five for the Royals who just about remain in the Championship play-off places.

From the BBC.

We are 8 points clear what are they are on about?

We were UTTERLY SHIT.

Second best throughout the whole game.

Goal against the run of play.

This one is on the players. We know what they can do when they're fired up for a win, this time they clearly weren't.

Utterly shit and one of the few performances this season where boos wouldn't have been out of place.

Still - Gibson was pretty decent, glad for the lad.

Watch the first goal back. Semedo is walking around like there is absolutely zero danger. You’d thing Rino would have made more of an effort to somehow even get close to the attacker.

Yep Cardiff are now a threat. We need to beat Bristol City.
