Greatwesternline We've been getting worse all season. Teams have found out how to play us.

That's why its ok to break the season into chunks. Teams change how they play against other teams as the season goes on.

We started very well. People reacted, we didnt.

That's why all season our position has been on a downward trend.

I think the main difference between the start of the season and now is that for 6 months we could play poorly and knock a long ball up to Joao to control and either score or bring someone else into the game, since he's lost form we've been playing the exact same way with nobody there to win it.

Even at the start of the season I can't remember many games we genuinely dominated, our strengths were always set piece routines and being fairly solid defensively.

Zip I hate the defenders passing the ball across the penalty box. High risk. Low reward.

Me too, all too slow and predictable. I love Ejaria when on the top of his game, but he’s a major culprit for slowing things down, and backwards and sidewards football.

As most have said - that's a shocking half of football - there's no urgency, Olise looks clueless and the one chance he has, Moore outs the free kick straight in the wall. Why on earth is he on free kicks?

Just doesn't seem to be a set game play that we can rinse and repeat to create chances. It's all reliant on someone spotting a random run at the right moment and executing the final ball perfectly.

Very true, when something good comes off, its usually a small stroke of inspiration like two one touch touch passes in the same direction just coming off to unlock a player. But they dont seem pre-planned.

More a case of intuition at that moment in time. Without those little moments, we create no sustained attacking intent whatsoever.

We need the play differently with Puscas, he isn't Joao. He needs through balls not head tennis and he's not as good holding the ball.

At the beginning we kept a series of clean sheets playing four at the back and two defensive midfielders providing additional cover. With Joao scoring an unlikely number of goals from few chances.

But teams have found our frailties defensively, and as you say, the Joao goals have dried up. I'm sure due to confidence loss of missing 3 penalties.

Joao is perhaps the most unstable striker mentally i can remember seeing in a Reading shirt. But also, perhaps the best i;ve seen at scoring when running directly at goal.

Yes it’s Kazenga not Lomana Tresor (who is now 40). Kazenga is also Yann Kermorgant’s brother in law.

Barnsley seem to be the better side in their match based on the chances.

Luton players seem to be running forward quite a bit, is that allowed?
