I believe STAR are meeting with the board today to discuss matters surrounding the club, that might shed some light on where we are at currently. We can only hope for a positive outcome.

Having calmed down from the rubbish performance against Luton it seems to me that Pauno should be given the next two games. Both are tough ones against top teams, but what we need to see is at least some more fight from the players. If they don't show up in these two we can only think that Pauno has entirely lost the players and just simply has to go. 4 points from these games (unlikely) and Pauno saves his job for me, but if we have two more heavy defeats then surely the owners must act and the manager must go, otherwise they will almost certainly be condemning us to relegation.

After QPR there will then be a 10 day break until we have a run of "must get points" matches and so if a new manager is to come in that seems to me like the perfect time and gives us a great chance of a new manager bounce in the games from 9th Feb onwards.

Google search "Everton Kia Joorabchian" I think you'll find they are in the same boat.

Everton fan on Reddit in response to that statement Only way you can deliver success is removing Kia Joorabchian from the equation and let the people you hire to effectively do their job and stop getting involved when you have an extremely limited knowledge of the game.

STAR had a useful and longer than usual meeting with the Club, where they timidly voiced the fans' disapproval before assuring the Club that they didn't share those negative views, and were firmly on their side. They then bent over and received some new and positive information about some key areas.

We need to:

1) Stop using Kia Joorabchian and get someone in who knows the club, not a person who's only interest is to line his pockets and not care if the club succeeds.

2) Get a sporting director in who can be the link between manager and the board.

3) Bring some scouts to the club who can identify players with potential and experience who can compliment our academy.

Not sure what thread to ask this on but can anyone work out how many points we’ll get if we add the amount of points we managed to gain in the last 20 games of last season (with a better squad) to the 22 we’ve amassed so far this season? Cheers

...if I'm looking in the right place ... and where I am looking is correct then I make it 23 plus the 22 = 45

I don't pop in here very often but JFC all this wibble. The 'Manager' has to go.

Yes it's risk but it's better taking a risk than submitting to capitulating (or sleep walking) into inevitable relegation.

Clear to see.

probably just a crossover with the dubious F1 results.

And bring in some physios, trainers and medical staff too. Having so many injuries is a joke and there is something fundamentally wrong with all those areas. I don’t believe it’s because we’ve bought injury probe players

I can’t go tomorrow and whilst I think we need a change of manager, I think it’s been tough for pauno to be fair. We aren’t going to get anyone else, so we just need to stick with him. If he did go, I’d get ainsworth, he’s done a brilliant job at Wycombe.

We are getting a good number of soft tissue injuries now. Dann, Hoilett, Azeez, Halilovic, Tetek (I think),.....there seems to be a serious conditioning problem with the players.

Pauno has brought in some (on paper at least) brilliant loanees (for a team such as ours)….(on paper) we should be holding a play-off challenge.

Can he be held totally accountable for their (the loanee) ‘sick-note’ bodies?…with their uninjured help paying-off, we would be singing a different song surely?

Re. The Luton game, what other substitutions was he expected to make, other than the ones that he actually did?

Pauno in out, in out, we shake it all about

Expectantly ‘out’ but still hoping that he (and his shower of useless bifs in the on the pitch) turn it into an ‘in’

Counter-productive over intense training sessions, reported from his time in Chicago and makes sense.

This amount of injuries is not a coincidence.
