Hound end up at Forest I imagine

This - Forest are a basket case too but if he lives in the Sheffield area still, it's a pretty short commute for Wilder.

If VP goes, we won't get someone like him - it will be some cheap unheard off with a patchy record abroad or John Terry.

I've said it before but I would seriously lump on the latter as and when VP goes and Terry is not in a job.

We need a man of Garrrry Monk's moral standing at the helm.

The manager made a big decision and the outcome was a serious blow for the fans and team. He has to hold his hands up, admit responsibility and learn from it. The owners will be paying attention and he'll only get so many chances.

When he did the sub of Puscas for Holmes I initially thought he was throwing a defender up top to hold up the ball, I didn't realise he was just going 5 at the back and using Swift as a false 9. Just invited QPR onto us but it almost worked out.

Last night we papered over the cracks but it'll give Pauno until the next international break to get more results.

We are all after a common goal here. We all want Reading FC to do well. We haven’t been doing well for a long time. If we turn this around and start doing well pauno will of course have my backing. A win against the shittest team in the league that dominated us in the first half isn’t isn’t going to change months of shit. But it’s a start, and the 4 points from two games is respectable . He’s bought himself a few extra games to improve things. Let’s see what the next 5 games bring.

There's got to be a realistic level of expectation against Pauno or any manager. If we're expecting a manager to sustain a promotion push, then every manager will fail. A relatively comfortable mid-table season is the best we can ask for, even if the likes of Dann and Drinkwater make a real difference once fit.

When we play well and lose to a moment of quality or a momentary switch off, we've lost to a better team with nous or shown naivety. When we win a tight game with a few moments of brilliance, we're lucky and it doesn't change much. I've always noticed this double standard and it irritates me.

It's a tight division results are everything. We weren't played off the park. It was a tight game between 2 teams lacking confidence and we ultimately had more than them.

Well quite - I'll be ecstatic if we end up with around 55-60pts this year - the very definition of mid-table regardless of who is in charge - then next year we have the mother of all rebuilds on our hands. Am sure a few OOC players will sign extensions but a few are definitely off.

Next 3 games, anything between 4-7 points is acceptable - 4 being more likely. Will feel quite pleased if we are sat on 12-14 points by the next break. This team are capable of that.

Actually we were doing well just about 6 months ago. HTH.

And before that, fine prior to lockdown

Pauno will be judged on results but at the end of the day we have to remember they have a horrific injury list with a much smaller squad than he started with utilising a lot of young talent luckily the club has.

It will be a big game at Fulham if we can somehow scrape a draw that would be a massive result for this team at the moment and the next 2 are vey winable against a lacklustre Middlesboro and Derby the key is momentum avoid a bad result at Fulham and we could be feeling a lot safer come the end of September.

I realise he hasn't scored but Puscas had looked a lot better in the last two games. As a result Pauno benches him. Clueless. Out!

I guess the strain in the warm up makes us clueless rather than Pauno
