Sounds like Dann knock nothing serious, while Swift, Yiadom and Drinkwater could be back for Luton.

Would be fantastic to see 4 or 5 of those just mentioned back in the frame for Saturday.

But can't help but feel deep down you KNOW this isn't going to happen. Hope i'm wrong.

Just think if we had five back. A full bench of options.
It would be good to see and boost our chances. We badly need some back. A win in front of over 20,000, players back from injury etc....would make a real difference.

After Rinomhota and Azeez, I'm not believing anyone is back until qfter they complete 90 minutes without further injury.

Ejaria back Sat along with Swift, Drinkwater and Yiadom, according to a reliable Twitter source.

IF true, and no one else is out following WBA, we will have a bench of senior players for the first time this season.

Shame about the four positive covid tests.

That will probably be down to the WBA game. In fairness they tried to get the game called off but the EFL refused

Doesn't bode well for us getting Saturday moved then unless we have more unavailable as a result.

It depends upon how many currently out injured are genuinely available for Saturday. We have four positive covid cases right now. That might increase in the days ahead.

Quite, currently injured players will have no bearing so will depend on how depleted we end up being but it won't be a good look for the EFL if making WBA play with an outbreak has caused one in our squad esp. if we then have to play a further depleted side and lose as a result.

Frankly the EFL are culpable if our players have now gone down with covid because of playing WBA. To happen before such an important game for the club is just hard to believe. We seem jinxed this season.

Being reported that it may be more than 4 players but EFL could make us play if we can field a squad of 14.

Turns out the Xmas party was after the game as everyone would have tested negative beforehand but if some have contracted it at WBA they could well have gone on to spread it at that.

QPR v Swansea already cancelled this weekend after QPR's game against Sheff Utd was called off on Monday. No idea on numbers involved but the EFL let them postpone.

If we have more than four with covid our game is going to be off. What a disappointment for all involved. Rotten luck at a time when our luck is already out.

Will put massive pressure on the Peterborough game if we don't play and Peterborough do (and win) as likely anyone isolating will have had minimal training time to prepare.

Would be good news for us if the ACON is cancelled/postponed.

QPR had 10 players isolating for the Sheff U game, from what I can make out the also have 4 players currently injured, so presuming the 10 isolating don’t include any of the injured that’s 14 out. Reading are already up to 15 but how many of the injured could actually kick a ball in anger if pushed, and would therefore count as fit, is unknown to us.

Personally I’d hope the game is postponed as it’s just too much to have players isolating and effectively rushing players back from injury to “fill in” before they’re ready.
