morganb Dejan Tetek back in training

yep spotted that. Looked like something like full training as well, not just jogging round cones.

Saturday 2pm is going to be interesting , see who is actually available again

Pretty sure I spotted Araruna participating fairly energetically too, which would be good for player and club.

Nice to know we're not the only ones with injury issues:

Manchester City are in an "emergency" with just "14 or 15" senior players for Wednesday's Premier League trip to Aston Villa, says boss Pep Guardiola.

Watford also have a fairly lengthy injury list.

This is why FFP has to go, it is making it impossible for teams like Man City to compete.

From Pauno's presser today https://mobile.twitter.com/RFCLatest/st ... 9500440584 :

injury update:

• Ejaria, Moore and Hoilett due back in next 2 weeks.

• Joao starting work on grass in the next 2 weeks.

• Few more weeks before Rino is back on grass.

• McIntyre out until January.

• Meite ahead of most people with his type of injury.

(Another quote - VP on Yakou Meite: He's ahead of most of the people with this kind of injury. The different between his left and right leg is only 10% and normally athletes at this point is between 20% and 30%. He works really hard, sleeps here [at Bearwood]. Great example of commitment.)

I always had Joao as the longest time out after Meite but it seems like Rino has managed to pick up a worse injury and I suppose McIntyre might be back after him now as well.

Encouraging about Meite though, we might see him nearer the end of the season rather than missing the whole thing.

So what do we reckon - Joao and McIntyre mid Jan, Meite as early as early Feb?

god knows whats going on with Rino, thats poor stuff. Should have Clarke, Moore, Ejaria and Hoilett for the Christmas programme hopefully

actually just further to this there was a correction:

Rinomhota has returned to training back on the grass, but is a few weeks behind Junior Hoilett

Hoilett is back on grass non contact, so prob 2-3 weeks away

Yes hopefully we have those four back by Christmas but doubtless others will be injured before then.

Assuming Joao back in January and Meite in Feb do we really keep hold of Carroll? Potentially we could have Joao, Meite, Puscas, Azeez and Clarke all fit by Feb.

In my opinion, Carroll is worth it for the experience alone and what he can pass on to our youngsters. He seems a great influence around the club too, still seems to have more than enough quality for this level.

Would be great if we could find someone to take Puscas, just hasn't worked out.

I like Puski but if Carroll stays and others are fit it would be best he left/went out on loan in January
