Well certainly take that

We really do look a lovely side coming forward at times but just don’t do it enough. That little spell between going 1-0 up and their goal we looked a cracking side

But the defence still a concern. The conceded goal was horrible again. Heart in mouth every cross that comes in. Southwood did well and appears an upgrade on Rafael both with hands and feet

Badly needed win though and a big bump up the table

Yeah, big old warning sign that Posh were proper shit so don't expect much against anyone bang average let alone good.

Takes a wee bit of pressure off though.

Swift just an absolute joy to have in the side at the moment. Didn’t play brilliantly but that goal…so impt as well

Thought Hoilett did well and Puscas had a strong game

I wasn’t expecting that just after half time. It’s a win and tomorrow will feel like a better day :D

Oh of course. They were rubbish - but then so is half the division.

Imagine if we had a decent defence :!:

Knowing ours and his luck, Surely it’s time Swift gets injured :(

Puscas has been pretty good this season. Just lacking the goals. But causing problems, working hard. Contributing.

As soon as Rino is fit would push Laurent out wide for Ejaria as TDB looks basically the same but an upgrade. And at least Laurent will run the ball forward at pace.

That is true, we are very fortunate to have some utter dogshite in and around us such as Hull, Peterborough, Blackpool etc. Can't see a situation where we can possibly end up with less points than any of those 3 sides.

So far I'd say everyone we've played except Posh were somewhere in the region of average. Posh were just shit.

I think Posh are well off the Championship pace.

First half was a dire watch much better 2nd half, particularly Ejaria - worth mentioning that after the scapegoat-panning he got in the 1st half.

After tonight

Equal worst defensive record now.

Now 15th in the table but could sink to 19th after tomorrow’s fixtures.

Run is now 3 wins in 18 games which averages out as 1 win in every 6 games.

Only QPR have scored more currently.

Swift has 7 goals from 7 games. Who needs Joao?

Dele-Bashiru scored his first ever league goals

That first half was all about a "Lack of Confidence" we took the lead against QPR and Posh and looked really good going forward! then those defensive blunders sucked it right back out of us.

Fours points from two games, i'm happy with that and it stops the rot!!

A draw against Fulham would be a great result and a really good week.

Shame Drinkwater wasn't fit tonight, that would've been a great game for him to start his Reading career..oh well.

Just reading some of the comments on the Peterborough forum. Apparently we are utter dogshit and we were there for the taking. They really seem to be a different team at home to the one that plays in away games, but they really looked limited, the number of times they just passed the ball off the pitch, it will take some sort of miracle upturn for them to stay up of that is how they usually play.

Good to get a win . Great goals ( ours ) . Theirs , always on the cards . Even last season , with Richards , his biggest weakness was defending the back post . I would like to have seen more pace on our passes , it almost seemed to be a game we were playing , see how slowly we could play the ball . Although I thought the forward movement and support was an improvement on a lot of last season . Would still like to see more support for Puscas , and a forward with pace to run the ball past opposing defenders .

Less said about the way the cross was defended the better, but I must admit that ball in for Peterborough's goal was an absolute peach

Well I think we`ve found beyond any doubt one side that will finish below us this season, awful team. very happy with the win though.
