Hound Think there was plenty of emotion in Ovie after scoring the second

Quite like the miserable git act. Is quite funny when his teammates don’t know how to react

Lots of smiles from him today. Great to see.
Five of of our signings have already made a positive impact. If only we can stem the injuries this might be a much better season than we expected.

We're still on more than an injury a game aren't we?

We'll be playing:

.........................CBC
Sackey, Abbey, Stickland, Bristow
...................Tetek, Osario
Leavy......Ehibhationham,....Camara
.........................Clarke

By Xmas.

Bristow is injured isn't he? Imari Samuels will have to come in at LB.

Holmes was wearing a protective boot after the game so I suspect he is going to be out for a while. At least Drinkwater is now available. Rafael should be back and in the bench next Saturday. Not sure what the issue is with Rino. He had a swollen ankle. I would hope it was just heavy bruising and that he will be back soon.
We just have to hope there are no injuries in training this week.

It's a miracle that our most injury prone player hasn't been hit yet..

SSHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-there is a week's training to come.
BTW can one of those lucky enough to be there tell us if Drinkwater looked match-fit?
interested to hear after being told that he hasn't been.

Chuffed for Ejaria who is often maligned on here-class will eventually out and hopefully he is now back in the sort of form that he showed when he first came on loan.

Hard to say on Drinkwater. Funnily enough he played a sort of water carrier role so was never really doing more than winning back possession, laying off aimple passes and making himself available for a back pass.

We joke about it but it is a serious concern. It’s been a persistent problem for a very long time.

I remember sharing some inside news I was in the position to acquire 2-3 years ago about the medical setup there and it was a bit worrying. I shared it here cautiously but can’t remember what it was other than having inadequate people in at the time. It’s probably resolved now but certainly there’s something odd going on.

Probably more than poor form, poor morale, poor systems so players have to over exert and risk injury (like Holmes yesterday) I don’t know.

Same, but he didn't exactly move around much did he? He had a job to do which was very important and he did it well. Didn't go on any dribbles or lung busting runs to get into opposition box so it's hard to tell if he is completely fit or not. Probably is though tbf, apparently had a good preseason with Chelski.

Why would he? Half our problem is players who ought to be screening the back 4 doing lungbusting runs forward and getting caught out of position up the pitch.

He did his job well. Screened, showed for the ball and played simple passes.

He wouldn't. I'm saying it's hard to tell if someone is match fit when they play the role he played. Stop looking for a fight.
