Simmops i genuinely hope we get battered tomorrow

It won`t matter a flying toss, if he hasn`t got the boot after the last 4 results it won`t happen now.

Having Yids, Rahman, Ejaria and Halilovic back will make a difference. A bit more hopeful about tomorrow,

The Green Programme If we score first, I think we win.

If we concede first, and don’t equalise very soon afterwards; I think it’s likely to be a 3 or 4 goal thrashing and the wheels will definitely fall off completely; with even more media focus on our shambolic state of affairs as a result…..

And the pressure will build even more…

Conversely, the last time we scored first and won was the 16th October. Since then, we’ve thrown a two goal lead against Blackpool, a lead against Hull, a two goal lead against Derby, a lead against Kidderminster and a lead against Middlesbrough. To have not won any game in the last 5 after taking the lead is truly dreadful

I do also see your point though about the impact of conceding first given how fragile we look. I think the recurring theme is that we’re just not very good

Really think it might've been a sliding doors moment against Blackpool when Puscas missed that 1-on-1 to put us 3-0 up. Nothing really seems to have gone that well for us since then.

The Hull game was incredibly annoying as they were oxf*rd dreadful and it was a really bad mistake from Southwood that gave them the goal.

The Derby game could possibly also be put down to Southwood error, they didn't look like really scoring, even though they had a lot of the ball, until his mistake.

+1

I agree with all of that.

‘Donnie Darko’ moment. Something shifted in the universe at half time v. Blackpool

We were on our way to the top six and after Puscas’s one on one miss; it fell apart.

6 point deduction; relegation battle; keep making horror errors to give teams goals etc etc

Worse and worse injury crisis; shit refereeing (how many blatant penalties have not been awarded to us?)

V Hull when they’re defender almost dislocated his shoulder to catch the ball…

This was after a less universal yet similar game changing event v QPR.; perhaps that was just testing the ground….

Just about to make 4-1 but Puscas put a free header wide from 5 yards out - a few minutes later it’s 3-3.

Little did we know that it was just the prelude to the more seismic (in its overall impact) event… v Blackpool.

Is Puscas from the ‘dark side’? Why number 47…why not a proper number?

And then there was this weird global pandemic…

Think it all hinges on Joao. If he is fully fit and raring to go it is a game changer for us. That said Huddersfield are a solid team, not lost since November I believe.

Would take a draw.

Snowflake Royal Change required. Real shake up needed.

..................Southwood
Yiadom, Holmes, Morrison, Rahman
.................Rinomhota
.........Laurent .........Bashiru
.......................Swift
..................Joao, Puscas

Fit your style to what you've got. High energy. Direct. Alternate playing through the middle with the full backs bending balls into the channels. Make the defence not know if they have to squeeze tight for the strikers dropping into space and playing with midfield or running off the shoulder in behind.

3 midfielders who will run all day. Help for Puscas to occupy multiple defenders rather than all sit on one attacker. Some actual first touch and vision in Joao.

No more fartarsing around with short passes going no where.

If Swift doesn't buck up, replace him with Camara. If Puscas is shit, stick on Clarke.

Won't happen. Same shit. Another defeat.

Could you cut out the foul language please.

After Wednesday I wasn’t going to go but I changed my mind yesterday. I am not very hopeful but if they get beat 2-0 again but all give 100% and create some chances I’ll take that which is oxf*rd sad really.

I have had some lows watching us over the years but Wednesday was my lowest point ever even beating the playoff loss to Bolton.

Same page as you blyth. Just please show you care. Show some passion. If we get beat, doesn't hurt quite so much if you can see the players giving 100%. Looking forward to the team selection today.

It’ll also be nice not to beat ourselves and give away easy goals / chances

Wow, has he been reading HNA?

How Drinkwater survives in the XI I'm not really sure. Frequently involved, full of mistakes.

Finally he's worked out he needs to throw what he's doing in the bin and switch it up.

If Pauno is playing Puscas or Joao wide in the same formation, he can pcunt off.
