hughsies no.1 Pointless debate - pointless poll. Everyone can see he is not up to the job but the Club simply cannot afford to sack him as it will breach the business plan agreed with the EFL so would result in a further points reduction.

Just got to get on with it and back the team and hope they can keep us up.

I can't believe the 'can't afford to sack line'. Worst case is we him on gardening leave til the end of the year at no extra cost to us

Yes bringing in someone else will cost. But we've just lost Rafael off the wage bill. Reckon we'll need to run it past the EFL, but surely they can't stop us taking him off the job

Could even just promote from within until May at no extra cost. Would rather have Michael Gilkes in charge than Paunovic every day of the week.

yes exactly. Not sure Fortune has been a resounding success, but he could do it. Shame O'Shea left as he would have been an option

Maybe we can`t sack him, but we can put him on gardening leave and let somebody already inside the club take over for the remainder of the season. hell they could hardly do a worse job.

I think Pauno out is about the only thing the club can do to try and turn things around just because this often gives an initial boost to motivate and encourage the players.

Ideally he will turn it around and we'll win our next game and go on a winning run and finish the season clear of releagation and feeling optimistic for 2023/24 in the Championship, but right now even scoring a goal or keeping a clean sheet looks unlikely.

Seems like it’s doing more damage keeping him in, so gardening leave might be the best bet. Let Gilkes take over until the remainder of the season

Obviously out from me.

I'd like to hear serious reasons for people wanting him to stay.

I nattered on endlessly about my reasons when I was IN. What are your reasons?

Other than "we can't afford it", because we've already covered that elsewhere days ago. This is about do you want him to continue managing the team or not.

Is there literally anyone who wants him to continue to take charge?

Won't knock you, would love to read it. Love a mass debate.

I think the problems lie deeper than Pauno but something needs to be done and sacking the manager is the cheapest and easiest option, however I'm not convinced it will make a difference unless there are issues between him and the players.

I'm completely indifferent as to whether he stays or goes.

The fact that most on the squad seem to be ooc at the end of the season and could all walk is becoming less and less of a problem for me.

If it can provide us with some results in the short term, then I'd be all for it as that may prove to be crucial when coming to the end of the season.

Not sure your opinion is worth the constant posts about your opinion, to be honest.

And very much OUT. We need someone who can actually manage a football team.

Disgusted there's a "Don't know" option.
What is this? A CCP run poll?

If you ‘don’t know’ by now then they don’t deserve to have that as an option. You’re either in or out there is no middle ground here.

SouthDownsRoyal Why is there no Ian royal option

Because with said poster its never a no or a yes, its maybe a no but i could be talking about a yes whilst i sit on the fence pretending to know what i am talking about whilst covering all possibilities and eventualities.

Unless of course that is what you will be voting for.
