Franchise FC West Ham first to go in the 106

Pity could be joined by United tonight and I really wanted them to be first

Not much point looking at the 106 beyond this point until at least November.
We’ll get some idea of who might think they have a chance only to fall away

Sheffield United fans are already talking this up as a possible opportunity to break this record as per twitter and forum.

Preston still in running for Steve Death's 13 game record without conceding 1978/79....still a record for football league.

Apart from the PL, a month or so to wait till we start ticking off the 106’ers

Way too early to start ticking any off … except that West Brom are already gone

Huddersfield & Middlesbrough also gone
Bottom 4 in League 1
Bottom 7 in League 2

See you in February

I will bump this when Derby get there

Doesn’t appear that it’ll last till February for them

Since Ian has raised this in another thread, it might be time for an interim position.

Premier League
Arsenal are still in the running, but would have to win all the remaining 24 to match 106

Championship
Burnley (116), Sheff Utd (113), Blackburn (108), Watford (108), Norwich (107), Coventry (107)

League One
Ipswich (120), Plymouth (119), Sheff Wed (117), Barnsley (114), Bolton (110), Portsmouth (110), Derby (109)

League Two
Leyton Orient (124  ), Stevenage (119), Northampton (117), Barrow (112), Mansfield (109), Carlisle (111), Bradford (111), Salford (109), Walsall (108), Swindon (107)
That’s a lot in League Two

Feels surprisingly few teams left in it for pre-Xmas, but I guess this is nothing unusual...

I guess this is the first time in 3 years there hasn't been a Covid induced fixture backlog.

Mathematically possible for the teams listed to do it but if you extrapolate their form to date across the rest of the season I believe only Orient are on target and none of the rest are really that close (Arsenal the closest but have a more difficult task because of the lower number of fixtures available).

Orient could give us a scare but the consistency displayed by our 106 team across the full season really was amazing and will be hard for anyone to replicate.

So Burnley need to win 16 of their last 21 and not lose another game just to equal our 106. good luck with that.
