Zip This is embarrassing

No complaints getting hammered, we’ve really gone for it and tried to win the game. These things happen.

Its only 3-1 ffs

Hardly embarrassing or a massive defeat. Lopsided yeah, but of course it is.

We had ambition - 2 up top etc. can’t magic up possession in decent areas. They are just far far better than us

100% correct.

We played 2 strikers but they definitely weren’t “up top”.

Formation was basically 5-6-0 and still got hammered. Pathetic.

We're losing by 2 goals you massive melt.

How do we go for it if we don’t have the ball?

By trying to have the ball?

Put Caroll where he normally plays and just lump balls towards him and try and get players close by at the VERY least. Probably won’t work but it’s better than whatever tonight was.

Old Trafford dead quiet. Rattled by our goal.

Playing some decent stuff now. Ince is looking classy down the right with a bit more space.

Think he took a poor touch so delayed the shot, then fell over.

Just naming 2 strikers isn’t “going for it” when they’re seemingly played in midfield. “Going for it” would involve creating more than 2 shots in 45 minutes.

So we didn't create many chances against Stoke, Rotherham, Sheff utd etc - how do you propose we should have done it at Old trafford?

McIntyre and Holmes have done themselves a lot of credit.

Laughable people were saying they weren't good enough for the Championship earlier in the week.
