Decent review and brilliant to see the stands pretty full, about time. Downside is that everywhere just so busy. We travelled up from Wimborne, son was starving, promised him food at half time, we left before the board went up and queue in east stand was about 40 deep perhaps more at this time.

Is Wimborne where you live or were you just staying there?

Travelling back from a morning football match.

Reffing, Paul?

My lad's team is on an awful run atm. Can't buy a goal.
On the plus side he is coming along nicely.

No mate, coming back from his Saturday teams game.

Great to hear he’s doing well. Be a challenge when they go 11 a side next season. Hope to get a friendly in with you guys soon. We are so up and down it’s crazy. Had an unpleasant game with our other team last week, toxic alround.

YorkshireRoyal99 No it wasn't a red but certainly worthy of a yellow. No drama though as we scored anyway.

Something to build on now though and a free hit basically in these next couple of games to see if we can take anything from them.

By the letter of the law I am under the impression it has to be a red card the moment the referee gave a penalty, there was no genuine attempt to play the ball from my view.

Perhaps, but my reading of it was that the other defender was, to all intents and purposes, between Meite and the goalkeeper, so not ‘last man’, if that’s how you want to describe it

Yeah, so?

There was no need for "So".
My point was that there were loads of extra kids and different faces (strangers) which is a good thing, contributing to a much bigger crowd than normal.
Long may that continue and as I said to my brother "great that the youngsters saw some goals" .

Just sounded a bit disparaging, that was all.

And you sounded like Ian, picking an argument when there isn't one there. .

Thought it was great how busy it looked. So much better when the stands are full

Bit of a shame the game was dull but nice to see a few goals and a good win. Really do hope the shackles come off a bit now - get Casadei, Azeez, NGW, Mbengue playing regularly would be nice

Lose some of the workmanlike types like Hoilett
