I had it working great though Sopcast, also pluged in to my 37 inch LCD full screen, The only problem I had was I could not have bbc berks at the same time as it was about two min delayed, got the goal before kick off !

I watched on TVAnts too, strangely the commentary for the first half was chinese and second half english. Nice unbiased commentary from Tony Gale.....I think not

I watched it on guandong. (Good quality but mine was 4 mins behind BBCRB)

Due to the Chinese Comms I turned it off and watched it in silence.

It was like watching football in Aldershot!

I also watched a flawless picture today for the wet sham game on PPStream via Guanzong or whatever it is called.

For adding english commentary to the delayed video here is the Tip described as mentioned earlier in this trail. (Five live extra streamed the commentary live via BBC website)UK only methinks
Make sure you have Real Player .
Start the bbc five live audio commentary just before kick off -- when it is running ok hit the 'pause' button on kick off whistle.

When the game kicks off on video - press play on Real player and the commentary is synced up to the video....Worked well today.
The 5 live commentary was a bit shite and embarrasing in comparison to a decent match day Radio Berks commentary .
Lets hope RB stream their commentary soon.

Good luck.

i've always been partial to TVAnts, watched it on there today. used previously noted AsiaPlate.com to find the correct channel, its quicker than just taking a guess on the Ants channel listings

two bits that might help:

1) http://www.espnstar.com/tvtimes/tvtimes_index.jsp
use this to find if ESPN Star or ESPN Asia is showing the game. you could use a variety of other sites, but you can look far into the future here. they show a heck of a lot of games

2) http://www.imvite.com/
go to the sports listing, and there are a lot of channel options, including the ones noted above. no download necessary, it just starts playing on windows media player. use it if you get in a bind and can't find the right channel on TVAnts (guangdong locked up on me today looking for a license. found the match on another channel though)

Made a half hearted effort to get the Asiaplate thing to work but gave up under a flurry of persistent pop-ups (one of which seemed determined to download some form of bogus "drive cleaning" product). Is that kind of thing the price of getting it working?

I have had no problems at all using the link to PPS from live footy doctor link given on Page 7, I think. No pop ups at all, just Chinese babbling away during the match. They barely stop talking the whole 90 minutes, and never raise their voices or increase the tempo even if a goal is scored.

It took about 5 minutes to download PPStream and run it, and the only issue I have had is choosing the right straem to watch the game on. They seem to have 5 streams available and it's guesswork as to which one is showing the game. Mind you, I think it's been Stream 2 for both games so far, but I haven't seen any kind of guide...

Message is Kurtz, being a Luddite, if I can do it, so can you!

Same here, but the commentary left a lot to be desired.

I have downloaded this before but delete it after every game to save space. Never had any problems.
