Good signing. An experienced pro who has played in the Premiership and at World Cups.

Quite mobile if I remember so should get forward when needed.

A Villa supporting mate of mine said of him: Nickname of Useless De La Cruz (yeah, I'm sure you've all heard that one), comments in a brummie accent like "couldn't cross the road" and "couldn't pass water".

Also, isn't he a right back? Do we really need another right back? Or is he cover for midfield? Been away for a week (inbetween going to Brum on Weds) so don't know all the comments that have been made about him. Will go and look now.

Not my first choice of signing but with a week left or so he can do a job for a year I think so not bad.

Its always bodies with you, isn't it? :p

Good to get in some cover - and not perhaps as bad as some make out? With our style of play and coaching, he may well do here - not much of a gamble if not!

kkr Under the right coaching i believe he could be worthwhile as a backup squad player.

If anyone can get the best out of him I believe Coppell can - in Sir Steve we trust!!!

Good signing for the squad. Also, he can only be a good influence on Sodje & Bikey.

My only concern is that if he does play, and joins Seol on the right side we could be asking for trouble - both good attack minded players but not the best defensively - and could expose our right flank?
