It hit the net at 15.9.

Crossed the line a little sooner - probably 15.72

Technically scored in the 16th second either way!

Guardian newspaper says 20 seconds :?
The Premier League website says 16 !

Ledley King got the fastest with 10 seconds and I've heard Doyle is in the Top 10 fastest Premier League goals but who's got the other eight fastest?

Nope, they showed the 6 quickest on GoS yesterday and at least two were scored after the opposition kicked off.

Off the top of my head.

1. Ledley King 10s
2. Alan Shearer 10.5s

I know Dwight Yorke had one and so did Chris Sutton but can't remember the timings or who the other two were.

Got a bit of work to do there methinks..... c'mon Kev got to break the 10 second barrier.

For the record Jim Fryatt scored the quickest ever goal, in the top english divisions, needing just 4 seconds to put Bradford 1 up against Tranmere in April 1964.

So to break that it looks like we need to score from the halfway line.

ironically, Ledley King's fastest premiership goal was against Bradford.

attendance has been between 25,000 and 30,000 in different papers as well plus the % possession has had a 12% variance depending on which media you look at.

Somehow the Official site got 22 seconds at first, but it's now been changed.

Shearer's was definitely from the opposition kick-off. I remember they (Villa?) passed it back to the keeper pretty much straight from the off, and Shearer charged him down. It went in off his arse.
