as he was sent off? If so, will this see Steve Coppell watching the game from the dug out for the first time?

The FA press release didn't say anything about a ban just "reminded them of their responsibilities" whatever that means.

Club Officials cannot be sent off, they can only be sent away from the vicinity of the field of play, i.e. the dugouts.

Only players, substitutes and substituted players can be sent off.

HTH.

So Warnock has never been sent off and forced to sit in the stands then? I could have sworn he had. Oh well. My mistake.

Was Dillon really sent off? I thought it was just the Chelsea bloke.

Yes but only after a disciplinary hearing. The FA have already had one and just 'reminded' Dillon of his reponsibilities, so that is the end of it

Indeed. Merely clearing up managers cannot be 'sent off' but they are advised away from the vicinity of the field of play!

Assistant manager Paul Brush was sent from the dug-out

You are right, but it would help to read the whole piece without getting excited.

Remember Lawrie Sanchez viewing on a TV monitor Roy Essandoh scoring a memorable winner for Wycombe in the bowels of Filbert Street, Leicester in a FA Cup match in 2000?
Sanchez was asked to leave the dug-out.
