Nice article about SC's purchase record in todays ST - not that much new, but a few interesting snippets so worth a read.

I would imagine that quote from the Spurs manager will remain prominently displayed at Reading training ground at least until the return fixture on the 1st April

Martin Jol When you lose to a team like Reading, you know you have a problem

It's also in a little frame above the door leading from the home dressing room to the tunnel at the MadStad.

Martin Lol.

Was dead chuffed to see this article in my morning paper. With the match postponement yesterday, i suspected my ST would devoid of Reading mentions.

Some major innaccuracies in some of the stats but apart from that a good article. Hope lots of neutrals read it and start realising what a decent club we are.

A good read.

Is this type of article typical for the Sunday Times sports pages? (Obviously not always Reading FC related)

Was thinking that myself. Nugent perhaps? Upson?

Would suprise me if we had gone in for Nugent, unless it was after Kitson's injury. Upson would be an odd one given he now seems desperate to leave Brum even though they are top of the Championship.

Having said that, I would struggle to think of many other Championship players who could be rated at 5 Million.

Gera ?
