Mr Mad seems content enough to give it a bash.

"We're making progress and it shows our ambition is always there. Sometimes we have to move forward at a quicker pace than we would like, but that's what we'll have to do.

"I can understand the manager's reservations. But as chairman, I'm allowed to say, 'let's give it a go and let's get into Europe.'"

Have you got any woods shades? If you have do bears shit in them? Why shouldn't we go for it, the team has put a great effort into this season and they deserve anything they can get! And cheap whores, fags and booze is ok by me.

Let's not take it for granted that Reading will ever qualify for Europe again during our lifetime.

We have to grab this chance if it happens.

I agree.
Why not take the opportunity that has presented itself to us?

It'll be a laugh, even if we get knocked out first round, and most of all, it'll be an experience.

If it happens let's embrace it. If it doesn't happen next season then this optimist believes we'll get another chance very soon.

Buggerit, we were half expecting to get relegated this season anyway. Lets have a bloody good European laugh if we can and see what happens.

We know we're not going to risk the farm on anything silly and we're a fantastically well focused team. We'll survive. Even if we do go down because of being in Europe then just think of all the fun we can have breaking our own points record!

We'll set the wrongs right and get a 100+ in points and goals next time!

Exactly. Imho it is complacent to say 'we aren't quite ready yet'. We could be relegated next season, no buyer may emerge for the club, our best players may leave, we could be League One by 2011 and be facing another 100 years in the lower divisions.

Let's go for it!

It would very difficult for me to make all the away legs, but I would tighten up every last expenditure to make at least half of them.
Father-in-law is good for a few tickets too. 8)

Of course i do i want reading football club to move foward and achieve new things.Europe is of course moving the club foward. In that more coverage in the UK and more media coverage in other european countries meaning more chance of higher profile players wanting to join reading football club.
