Just reading a debate on Cisse/Sonko being born in France or not and thinking about all those Korean fans and I was wondering, how many people on here were born in Reading?

Still the vast majority I expect, but I for one would be interested to see!

Being born elsewhere and living elsewhere doesn't mean that they haven't at some point lived in the area. For instance I moved to Newbury when I was just a youngster (so not born in the area) and moved to London a few years ago (I'm back now), but during my time away I was still a Reading fan.

Local to where?

I was born outside of Reading to parents born in Reading, I've lived in Reading for about 25 years.

We did something like this a few years ago and very few on here actually live on here and most are country bumpkins from places like Tadley,Newbury,Wokingham,Woodley etc.
I was born in Reading not far From the Royal Berkshire Hospital and grew up a couple of roads from Elm Park.
I now live some way out of the area but regard myself as a Readingphile.

Does born in Reading mean those born in the Royal Berks or Reading and the surrounding area? If so does Henley count?

Similar story, but I never liked Huntely and Palmer's biscuits (they were the ones your gran put out, no jammy dodgers)

That should be Laaanden where I was born. Lived in Reading from a child until got married and moved to Brisstle. So wasn't born in Reading and don't live there now.

You're only a proper Reading if you were born IN the Royal Berks.

The rest of you are glory hunting out of towners.

What if you were born in America whilst on holiday? But returned home to the Royal county?
