Liverpool Prediction Thread

As David Coverdale once sung......"here we go again".....!

We have been so sh*t over the past few weeks, that it would not surprise me if we raised our game and went and won this.

Reading (1) 2

Hunt 36, Kitson 74

Liverpool (0) 1

Ponytail bloke 87

Or we could continue in our sh*t form and sink without a trace...

We'll be more in the game against 'pool than we were against Arsenal, but we'll lose by a greater margin.

Unless, as has been suggested on here this week, Liverpool rest the whole "first team" because of the Marseille game on Tuesday, I can see us conceding 3, 4, or even 5 without reply.

Same as last year for me, a valiant 2-1 defeat with the winner coming late on.

We'll score, but it won't be Kitson. They'll win but not by a large amount

2-1 Liverpool

Hunt for us.

West Stand Flash Reading 0 - 3 Liverpool

Ordinarily I would agree with this but I dreamt about the score last night (sad I know but I can't control my dreams) so I will go with 1-1.

Reading leading for most of the game, then an awful mistake from Marcus late on

0v3 and we'll hardly make a tackle.

Why didn't we get stuck into Arsenal like Newcastle did last night by the way ?

Because we don't have Barton, Smith and Butt. It's not the Reading way.

Because we've tried that before it hasn't worked. What works for one team against a side, does not necessarily mean it will work for another.

This has 1-0 royals written all over it with big Davey baby blasting in a late scorcher from the edge of the area.

I never make predictions against us (ever the optimist see) but I can see this one being 1-1 with a late Long equalizer that will send everyone home happy and help them forget how shit we were for 93 minutes
