earleyroyal Boro are a fairly physical team and with our featherweight central midfield and shaky defence I can't see past a 2-1 defeat. The usual 94th minute consolation goal but we never look like being in the game.
Boro 2 (1) - Alves 27, Young 49
Reading 1 (0) - Kitson 90
I will gladly eat my words if proved wrong with a 3-0 win.

southsideroyal Murty will be proud of our effort. Coppell will not fault the team but admit that Boro were the better side. Harper will be gutted. Hunt will state that we need to kick on.

A first away win of the season tomorrow would reinforce that belief and also help Coppell to banish the memory of the worst league run in the club's history. The Reading manager admitted that he has been left "embarrassed" by the failure to pick up a single point this year, although the players have not sensed his discomfort. Indeed Murty believes that the manager's "selfless" approach could make all the difference over the final 10 weeks of the campaign.
