rfcjoe Totally agree with Pearce in the first team. Don't know how people can doubt him as he was goo for our ressies and did well at Norwich - throw the poor fecker into the mixer ffs.

Where did Norwich finish? Where do we want to finish?

I've heard great things about Pearce on another board, from both Bournemouth and Norwich fans. He should be more than able to take up a place in the first team- if not, 2 of Dubery, Ivar and Cisse will do us nicely, with Bennett as a possible short term solution. Nothing to lose by given him a game or two.

Good for AB. JUST STAY HEALTHY!

I'd like to see Ingi/Someone else start. When Bikey returns, then Ingi/Bikey anchoring defense. By March, Bikey/Pearce. That's the future.

Looks like a tough tackler (Pearce) and he was playing out of position. I liked him, Henry, Robson-Kanu against Didcot

Did you see the Blackburn game?

He did comparatively ok against Arsenal but that was only because the rest had been so bad before he was put there, and Arsenal had laready given up by then

Played in midfield against Liverpool in the cup at Anfield didn't he ? Did quite well from what I remember.

But he's a better centre back and I'd rather have a genuine central midfielder in central midfield and play our genuine centre back at centre back !

Think the best thing is that any Premiership clubs looking at Bikey, will be put off by his Olympic comitments.

No chance of Pearce taking his place, he'll still be behind Doobs, Ivar, Sonko and even Cisse in Coppell's rankings.

We won't - if we play Pearce, not Bennett that is.

Probably as Coppell does tend to get these things completely wrong. You missed Sodje off your list too. :x

Yeah, he's well known for not being able to spot a quality defender.

Is that just a random list ?
Can;t actually see a common thread between them.
