At least we've got plenty of options at centre back - I'd much rather have Bikey here but it's not going to impact the team as much as losing (say) Mateyovsky, Shorey or Kitson would do....

Hope he gets a medal !

I hope he doesn't lose his head and cost himself a place in the final this time round!

It's a shame for him and us that he won't be able to compete for a start straight from the off. It might mean we're without him in the side for quite some time, such is the competition at centre back, but at least that'd mean we've started the season well anyway.

The prelim matches are being held in Shanghai when I'm there. Will do my best to get the hoops on TV!

That's ok we've still got Bennett.

In all seriousness bit of a blow but it's the one position we should be able to cover fairly easily.

We're ok in the Championship at right back...just. Murty's getting on though and Rosenior can't seem to stand up for more than 5 minutes and lacks any sort of positional discipline.

Totally agree with Pearce in the first team. Don't know how people can doubt him as he was goo for our ressies and did well at Norwich - throw the poor fecker into the mixer ffs.
