sign in if your still excited

by juanpablo » 18 Jul 2008 10:45

Im as up for this season as any i can remember...

ok Little and Kitson have gone but hopefully we have some new youngsters in...

I believe Marek has the potential to do great things and ive been hearing great stuff from Millwall fans about Jem....

I know everyone is worried about us not bringing anybody in but imo even if we lose a couple we will be ok. If Shorey goes Roseniors best season ever for Fulham was at left back.

murty, ingimarson, dube's , Rosenior seems fine to me

henry\kebe(i honestly believe we need and will buy a rm) marek, bikey , convey\hunt

long , doyle, lita (and im sure a youngster can step up)

thats a good core of players add people like cisse who should be ok at this level.....

imo we need a right winger and a centre mid if harps goes... A lot of Championship sides would like our squad especially the front line. Like Lita or not he is going to bang them in next year FACT

Im so up for this season, i will be able to make many more away days aswell

good times

Every pre-season is a build-up.
I look forward to every one...

We have to react rather than be proactive, with a couple of good, first-team players gone, hopefully we can replace them and those who'll leave before the start of the season.
I can't control it, so I'm not going to worry about it.

Confident that we'll have a good season, that has always been the same!!!

Like yourself, can't wait for the season to start!

A big LOL to people who get so worked up over transfers.

I am looking forward to this season much more than I was last season.

No need to laugh at people who get worked up over decent players leaving, it is frustrating.

But, you can't do much about it apart from not go to the game anymore.

When you read some of the comments that people make I think there is a need to laugh.

I'm looking forward to the football, the stadium, the atmosphere (when it exists), the goals etc, Soccer Saturday when I am not at games, MoTD returns, watching 'The Championship' again etc etc.

Doesn't mean that I think much of juanpablo's original post will materialise mind you. I'll feel a lot better if we get to the end of the transfer window with Bikey, Marek and Doyle still in the squad.

I'm stil excited but also a bit upset that Kitson is leaving. I will always remember his goal celebration where he ran into the crowd after scoring v Newcastle. He said it was a thank you gesture to the fans. Legend!

I got over losing Kitson on Wednesday (though I still blame him for today being a bad day). But no more looking back. I'm going to try looking forward from now on. There's still a team to support and I hadn't realised that Rosenior could play at left-back.

Cannot wait for the season to start, have moved my seat to 2 rows from the front, 4 extra games to look forward to, more 3p.m. Sat afternoon kick-offs, more midweek games and not so many prima-donnas diving and cheating there way to try and gain an advantage.

Two days ago I was buzzing. The Kitson transfer has tarnished it a bit, but as mentioned previously I think the academy will produce some heroes this season!!

Plus Ive got a massive weekend in Birmingham planned first weekend of the season, so happy days!!

Also Ive moved from the plastics from the last two years Ive had to sit next two, guarantee they wont be there this season!

The friendlies have helped get em excited, but again all i can think about was Kitson scoring v didcot after 30 odd seconds  Only because he was my nephew's favourite player and it was the first time he has seen him score while being there. He was loving it. Still he also enjoyed the other 8 goals so as long as we score goals, he will be ok!
