Gordons Cumming When are we going to get that replacement for Sidwell?

Still waiting..............

Jem Karacan ;)

Tbh I don't think there will be a replacement. Matejovsky was bought, but not as a replacement imo.

Well we did get a Sidwell replacement but he wasn't here to directly replace Sidwell but he might end up replacing Sidwell in Sidwell's position in midfield.

readingbedding READING insist that new signing Dave Mooney is not a direct replacement for Dave Kitson.
That would imply he is an indirect replacement for Dave Kitson which makes the headline "Mooney not Kitson replacement" inaccurate.

Nick(y) Hammond “But he is not here to replace Dave Kitson. There are similarities but he’s a different sort of player.”

Got to love Nick(y) Hammond: "He's definitely not here to replace Dave Kitson; oh no we're not falling into that trap - he might turn out to be total crap so I'm not having you blame me. He's a different sort of player; worse and cheaper"

The points pretty obvious.

Despite being 6ft, Mooney doesn't have the airal or physical pressence that Kitson had. He's not very good in the air and doesn't yet have Kitson's alround game. Hardly surprising and I'm sure the club won't want too many Kitson/Doyle comparisons as that will just put pressure on Mooney.

Your not very good at spelling, but that doesn't mean we should write you off as not being fit to post.

Give Mooney a chance.
