Mr Singh helps out with Middlesex FA training/development sessions for new referees. According to my son he is a nice guy who knows his stuff.

Here's hoping we think the same about him come 10pm Tuesday!

Anyone know if he is related to the ex-ref Gurnam Singh (from the mid to late 90's).

T.R.O.L.I. Two RFC virgins in the space of four days - this time it's the turn of:

If your talking about Singh being an RFC virgin, your wrong. Brentford - Reading preseason friendly July 07. Brentford 1-6 Reading
Doesnt mention him on here, but he definatly was ref: http://www.readingfc.co.uk/page/NewsDet ... 21,00.html
It was also the game 3 of us got red paint on our new Reading shirts from the sodding bar we were leaning on.

Did OK, but got the sending off wrong. Also not impressed with Boris's card, and some of the fouls he gave against us. Not sure about the pen but there are absolutely no appeals from the Blackpool players, so it must have been nailed on.

I also wonder whether there should be a more severe punishment for the 3 times a Blackpool player cynically took out a Reading player on the break.

Must admit, he bowled well last night, especially in the second over when he put in the odd doosra. Found the rough well and in general was a good performance

Credit where credit is due - I thought he was one of the best refs this season. Probably harsh with the sending off - although it was more warranted that either Bikey's or Kebe's. Also thought Boris's yellow looked a tad harsh.
