Really wasn't as bad as some people are making out. 2nd half in particular was encouraging. Karacan was MOTM for me.

'Same old Reading always hoofing'

I seriously hope we are saved the embarassement of the playoffs. Stephen Hunt can fcuk off to Wigan now, that's if they'll take him. Kebe, my goodness, missed. from. like. a. yard. out. shocker! Bring on next season! I'll only be renewing my ST if COPPELL GOES.

Why can't we do the 'simple' things well? Absolute rubbish.

Anyone who defends him is blind.

It's no effing good being 'encouraging' in one half! We struggle to score in 90 minutes, let alone 45!!

Going in 0-0 at half-time with Reading playing like a pile of steaming shyte had already given Barnsley the lift they needed.

And you probably don't need to be able to see very well in order to defend against him!

99 times out of 100 you can rely on him going down a blind alley.

Just like the video on YouTube:

'Kebe, don't give me effing Kebe, he's just there to make the rest look good!'

With a bit of luck we could have scored 3 or 4 today. One lucky break and all will be sorted.

Surely its a touch late in the season to be encouraging?

Here we go again. Supporters desperately having to resort to lucky breaks, rather than rely on any levl of ability from their team!

With better football, more skill and better finishing when we did get chances, we would have scored 3 or 4 today! Luck had nothing to do with it.

Kebe was frustrating today - BUT he was involved a lot today and done a lot of positive things - and also quite a few poor things but when compared to Hunt (who yet again created nothing) he was a genius .

Five good things plus five bad things still = 5 good things better than Hunt so give him a break.

As for the team performance, its just what I've come to expect from a team who are not being pushed/encouraged to pass the ball to each other and are just making the best of a total lack of leadership.

Tbh I agree with the sentiments of W_R. I wasn't there but in some ways our terrible form has meant we are almost starting the season anew.

Whilst it's f*cking annoying in some respects we need to start anew to build for the playoffs. Come on people look through the anger and give us a couple of crumbs of positivity. Can Karacan and Tabb drive us towards playoff glory? Kebe can't be THAT bad?

Luck has everything to do with it. We were good enough to have won today, and at least 3 times we were inches from converting, as well as having a stonewall penalty turned town.

It certainly did look better after Long came on and gave us a little bit of urgency, but the first half was absolutely, utterly, dire.

Remember when we used to have a team that played with pace, urgency and desire? Seems a long, long, time ago. I think the playes are just so deep in their comfort zones that something radical needs to be done to shake them out of it.

It was.
It was impossible for us to string two or three passes together.

Tbvh the starting 'anew' will have to come next season. We have to build the team up again in the summer cos there is no way we'll become brilliant overnight. Impossible. I say bring on next season.

yes - after Long came on it was much better, and we were creating chances and playing with some pace.
