Head-to-head

• Reading have won three of their last four league games at Oakwell.

• Barnsley failed to score in both league meetings with Reading last season, and in five of their last eight games against the Royals.

Barnsley

• Barnsley have lost their last three Championship games without scoring - their worst run since four defeats on the spin in January, when only one goal was scored.

• They have won only one of their last 13 league outings.

• The Tykes are one of two clubs still to score a home goal in the Championship so far this season. The other is Swansea.

Reading

• Reading will make a fifth attempt to register their first league win of the season. In 1997/98, they took seven matches to record a victory.

• They have won four of their last 21 league matches.

• The Royals and Darlington are the only clubs in the Football League to have scored just one league goal to date.

• Along with Scunthorpe, Reading have not scored at all in the league away from home.

It's going to be 0-0 then.

Been away for a couple of weeks. Haven't really caught up with the Reading news. I heard we lost to Sheff United. Can anyone give me an update on the last few week's?

We're shit, Tommy Smith thinks we're shit, Madejski's had some stick, Hammond's had some stick, Rodgers polarises opinion...I think that's it.

Sold Bikey
Lost to Sheff Utd 3-1
Went out the cup to barnsley 2-1 with a last min penalty
Strong link with Harper to Wolves
Lost Smith at the 11th hour to Pompey
Signed Rasiak and McAnuff

Think thats about it really?

So we have signed Raisak and McAnuff. We haven't signed Smith. We have sold our best player. We could be selling two more of our best players. Plus we are losing.

Would that be a fair summary?
