by Archie's penalty » 16 Sep 2009 21:22

It's weird but for the first time since the 2004-5 season when things went a bit poo I'm just not that bothered about our results

Anyone else out there feel the same?

Bit sad really.

I agree...

...sadly for the fans around me, I was late from work tonight so could not make it...

..that being said, as I used to be the "Greatest Fan RFC Had Even Seen" and "People's Fan Of The Year 2002 - 2007", I feel your pain.

I feel no aligance or even relationship towards any of the team anymore. It's like we are watching a watered down shadow of our formerselves.

*sighs*

I need another sport to follow to get angry and elated about, as I do no longer with RFC :|

Seems that Cops and Mad have done their best to quell any feelings of aspiration or goals and in turn apathy sets in..

Same. My weekend would be ruined by a loss, even a draw. But I just huff and I'm done now. Been that way since the mauling at home to Saints January was it? That was more because I hated how money and fame (if you like) had changed the team. There was very little togetherness any more. I didn't feel part of the club like I had done pre-premiership. Now though, I just don't love the game any more, and a defeat is a defeat.

Rodgers seriously needs to sort this out though. We're heading one way right now, and that's down.

Did we take cups serious under cops??? NO
Our highest ever league result and mad and cops were complaining about being succesful and didn't care ot go to eu rope??
For football clubs there is UP and therei s DOWN.. you must sshow you want to go UP and the reigme never did. Branden is just a cheap replacement to hopefully keep us in teh championship until mad finally sells the club...no use saying you want to be the nextarsenal by buying players like kebe

No way in helllllll can he do this.

You see, if he changes what he does, he'll be admiting defeat after all the hundreds of words he was saying about how we're going to play this season.

No, what is going to happen, is the man with the big watch is going to play the same way he does, week in week out until either:

A - It Clicks and Actually works

B - He's Sacked

DO YOU SEEE?

Spot on.... "It's like we are watching a watered down shadow of our formerselves".
It's also like that remake of the Fall & Rise of Reggy Perrin... not funny... not entertaining... why did they do it ?.... it was the cheap & easy option no doubt, but my licence fee still goes up !

The only reason people are feeling like this is because we haven't won at home for a while.

Get a bit of a rythm going and watch the confidence flood back into players and fans alike.

Look at the stats for today....all over Cardiff and then they score completely against the run of play. Our luck is seriously out at the moment, and we're all demoralised because of it.

I know. But it's more than that. End of a dream.

Just hope we snap out of it soon.

I think the best way for supporters to made their feelings hurt is to have a peaceful demonstration at halftime on the pitch.

I hate feeling this way, but I agree. To go from eighth in the prem to this in such a short space of time has knocked the stuffing out of me. I used to feel proud to say I was a Reading fan - cheeky underdogs and all that. Now I just get pity and "well that's what happens if you sell your entire first team squad and bring in Shaun Cummings".

I don't want to be negative and desperately want to care again, but this is a two way street.

Like who??

We are progressively getting better.

We out-played a top team in this division tonight.

Rodgers can't do anything to counter bad luck.
