facaldaqui He says there: "I can understand the supporters, they are used to success, certainly in the Premier League, and now its a transition which some supporters won't like, some will understand."
Brendan is misunderstanding the crowd's response on Tuesday. I doubt many that went to QPR were premier plastics. They were committed fans. I totally disagree with giving players stick during games, but the ironic chants are actually a sign of buoyancy and a coping strategy for the fans.
My impression is that no fans expected a promotion challenge this season once so many players left. We wanted mid-table consolidation. The reason people are frustrated at the moment is because we are not achieving that: it's not because we are missing the premiership.
As for being "used to success", we had a brief spell of success late last year, but it's largely been two years of failure. We're certainly not used to success since Christmas because we haven't had any. Face it, Brendan: supporters will be on your back till we get out of the relegation zone.

As a coaching team we are doing everything we possibly can and there is no way the team could be better prepared for games.
Tactically, technically and physically there is no way we can be any more prepared than we have been all season.

facaldaqui In fairness, that's quite a modest and genuine interview (almost want to give him a hug). However, his body language isn't good: I don't think he's confident of beating Leicester.
