Where's Royalee?

by Royal With Cheese » 04 Oct 2009 10:12

Last post was:

Royalee Here's a bet for you Schards...I bet you're a mong at half time...and still a mong at full time.

In which he was partly right. Shards was a hopeless optimist for betting that Reading would actually be leading at half time.

Usually he shows his face at some point during the weekend.

C'mon - take the flack, you know you love it!

His last post appears to have been surprisingly reticent and respectful then...

I was too busy ranting at 2ww1wc for trying to tell us we are still in preseason.

We're certainly playing like it, but I'm not sure even you believe we're so good we can give the rest of the league an 11 game head start before we get competitive and still stay up...

Lol, no. We were poor on Saturday and need to improve, but I still think Rodgers can turn it around. We beat Preston and we just didn't perform on Saturday - we need to be more consistent.

I am interested in your opinion on Howard's "contribution" and Kebe's substitution last Saturday.

Thought Howard was rubbish if I'm honest...I expected him to be alright on the left but he kept drifting in...he's clearly a good footballer but the way we're playing him he's been shut down too quickly and doesn't have quick enough feet. I don't think you can play more than one of him, Sigurdsson and Marek in the same team unless you're playing Sigurdsson out wide, especially if we're having to carry Kebe. Still, early days and all that.

As for Kebe, 'carry' is what we have to do with him in 80% plus of games - it's no coincidence that we've got more and more lightweight in midfield since he was brought to the club, he needs to grow a pair and pull his weight (which isn't a lot anyway).

Match winner in two out of 7 starts. Ok in at least one other.

Having 2 good games in 7 starts does not warrant a first team place in any decent side.

Good job for him we aren't a decent side then isn't it.

And just pointing out 80% is way out.
